Before carrying out repairs release the pressure and temperature if necessary.
Loosen the exhaust pipe and starter catalytic converter from the Turbocharger and Gearbox. ( The catalytic converter can stay in situ.)
Remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler and particulate filter.
